If you haven’t checked it out and you work in the field it’s worth looking at. As I had said in the email I forwarded to people, I didn’t know whether to be depressed, happy about what I manage to earn or if I should begin thinking about other careers.

Graphics is one of those fields that eats the young and casts off the old. Unless you’re one of those people at the top of the pyramid, getting older in this field isn’t kind. Funny thing is, I’ve done a lot of things during the course of my life and came into the field (what I consider) relatively late - which actually may have helped me.

A friend many years ago said to me, “You should always be looking.” Although he wasn’t necessarily one to set the world on fire, those words have never really left me. Mind you, I do get apprehensive but my audacity is boundless and that’s probably what keeps me going.
